  1. Our Services

Youth Services

Highlands Youth Services are located at Highlands Youth Hub at Loseby Park, Bowral.  Our team of dedicated youth workers are available to provide information, advice, support and referrals for young people and their families.  Our staff take the time to listen, understand and help young people identify their needs and explore their options.  Staff are available at the Youth Hub from Monday to Thursday each week.  All our spaces are supervised, fun, accessible, drug and alcohol free, culturally safe and gender sensitive.

Education Support

Free after-school tutoring for students from low-income families is provided every Thursday with the help of a committed and experienced group of tutoring volunteers.

In-school programs - we offer a range of mental health and well being programs for high schools. Programs include Rock & Water, Love Bites and RAGE.

Social Connections

The Youth Hub is open for Drop-In after school each Wednesday til 6.00pm, and throughout the school holidays.  All young people between 12 and 18 years are welcome at the Hub where there are supportive youth workers, counsellors and a range of free fun activities, workshops, food and wifi!

Skills-based Programs

On Track is a 12 week program that provides young people with skills to help them successfully transition into employment and/or further training. The program covers a range of practical, soft and well being skills and provides access to relevant training and work experience. Referrals for this program can be addressed to Highlands Youth Services, on 02 4862 1122 or [email protected].

Festivals & Events

The Youth Advisory Group works with Highlands Youth Services, Wingecarribee Shire Council and other organisations to plan for Youth Week and other events throughout the year.  To be involved or learn more, contact the Hub.

Cultural Connections

The Aboriginal Respect Circle is a place of learning, healing, reflection and reconciliation.  Cultural events are advertised regularly.  To book the Circle for your own event, please call 02 4862 1122.
