Our Impact The Difference We Make The difference we make Service Delivery. During 2020, Highlands Community Centres Inc. provided the following support to our local community: We provided 70 $50 Back to School vouchers, supporting 70 kids and 34 families. We delivered 18 Be Connected technology sessions for seniors, with 78 attendances. 229 walk-in clients received assistance at Stafford Cottage. Aboriginal Services provided support to clients 328 times. My Life My Dreams was delivered once, with 83 attendances across all sessions. On Track was delivered once, with 72 attendances across all sessions. NILS approved 88 loans to the value of $93,217. School holiday programs included Hill Top Outreach, Jump Into Jobs, Manga Art workshop, Barista course, Youth Radio, Bundanoon Outreach, Zoom sessions. 31 Tackling Tobacco vouchers were provided. We facilitated 228 tutoring sessions. We provided one Work Development Order. Drop-in occurred 43 times, with 280 attendances by local young people. Highlands Youth Services provided casework to clients 65 times. Links to Learning ran two iterations, with a total of 36 sessions, and 298 attendances. Tax Help provided free support to lodge returns to 51 people. Wingecarribee Community Services Outreach occurred three times, with a total of 22 stakeholders collaborating. We took 183 bookings providing access to our facilities to over 1,200 individuals. Tuning Into Teens parenting program was delivered once with 13 attendances over 5 sessions. We ran RAGE as an in-school program with 17 attendances over 4 sessions. The Youth Advisory Committee met twice, with 7 young people attending. HCC Aboriginal Services facilitated Dhungung (Food) Share 11 times, providing support to Aboriginal clients 318 times.
