Our Impact The Difference We Make The difference we make Service Delivery During the 2021-2022 financial year, Highlands Community Centres Inc. provided the following support to our local community (note: service delivery was impacted by COVID-19 in late 2021): We advocated for and supported 168 people over 891 sessions and made 41 referrals to 18 local services. We delivered the women's program, My Life My Dreams. NILS approved 57 loans to the value of $78,063. We handed out over 50 Rapid Relief Food boxes. School holiday programs included Hill Top Outreach, Bundanoon Outreach, Movie nights at the Empire, Aboriginal Art Workshop and Equine Therapy. We provided one Work Development Order. Drop-in occurred 39 times, with 184 attendances by local young people. Forty students accessed free tutoring. 461 communications sent to the Wingecarribee Community Services Forum members. Provided information about community resources 455 times. Three people received financial support through the Aboriginal Recovery Fund. The Women's Yarning Circle was held twice. 28 women attended a Women's Retreat for Cultural Connections. HCC Aboriginal Services outreached to Dhungung (Food) Share 18 times, providing support to Aboriginal clients 430 times.
