Sally Waterford  OAM- President 

BA; Grad Dip ECE.

Sally has lived in the local area for almost 4 decades. She is a former Childcare Teacher, was a TAFE teacher, and then a Family Support worker for almost 2 decades. She has been a long-time volunteer community development worker, especially involved around Reconciliation, refugees, women's issues, creative opportunities, disability support and inclusion. Sally is a sculptor, gardener, and an avid reader. 

Sally believes that Highlands Community Centres (HCC)  is well placed to offer services to support children, youth and families in Wingecarribee to ensure they thrive.

Fiona Henriques - Member 

Fiona has lived in the wonderful Southern Highlands for over 20 years, having moved from London, to Sydney, to the Highlands. 

I have a background in Child Protection and Out of Home Care, where I have worked on the frontline, operations, leadership, training and investigations with NSW Health in the area of Child Protection and the NSW Ombudsman in Complaints She has also worked for TAFE NSW teaching the Diploma of Community Services and Diploma of Counselling. She was also a lecturer at Western Sydney University, teaching Health Services Management for 2 years.

Fiona now runs her own private counselling practice in the Southern Highlands.
