Suzi has lived in the Southern Highlands for over 25 years.  She has extensive experience working with young people experiencing crisis and trauma in educational and residential care settings, teaching, management and community development.  Suzi is motivated by the belief that everyone has the capacity to reach their own unique potential given the right support and opportunities.  She is passionate about social justice, educating and supporting kids who don't fit into the mainstream school system, and the empowerment of women and girls, especially those who are facing and overcoming adversity.

Suzi also brings expertise in strategic planning and development, the design of inclusive frameworks, data-driven decision-making and diagnostic feedback processes.

Nicole Blaik

Community Worker

BA (Psychology & Religious Studies), Grad Dip Counselling

Nicole is originally from New Zealand, and has called the Southern Highlands home for the past 8 years.  Nicole previously worked at UTS as a project manager and research assistant in the fields of education and health communication.  She has worked in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre and as a school counsellor.  Nicole is motivated by working with other committed and passionate people both at HCC and across the broader community.  She is particularly passionate about empowering women to change their lives in powerful and significant ways.

Nicole runs the My Life My Dreams program, Tuning In To Teens and provides support for women experiencing Domestic and Family Violence.

Lisa Fuller

Aboriginal Community Worker

Lisa is our Aboriginal Community Worker.  She runs the Women's Yarning Circle and Cultural Connections for Families programs.  She also helps out at Dhungung (Food) Share at the Aboriginal Cultural Centre every Thursday.  Lisa also provides support for Aboriginal families and Aboriginal women experiencing Domestic and Family Violence.

Lynn Brady

Lynn lives locally and enjoys helping others and giving back to the community.  Her background is HR, recruitment and administration.  She has been a small business owner for the past 13 years.  She is motivated by helping financially disadvantaged people access safe, affordable credit.  She is passionate about microfinance, small business and financial empowerment.

Lynn is our No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) Coordinator.

Natalie Roberts

Youth Worker

Natalie has lived in the Southern Highlands for her entire life. She has two children who she is raising in the Southern Highlands on their farm. She is passionate about Social Justice and believes that all young people deserve the chance to shine and have a voice. 

Natalie provides case management for young people between the ages of 12 and 25.  She co-facilitates the Links to Learning program and Youth Drop-In every Wednesday at the Youth Hub, facilitates the Tutoring program and provides support for young people on Work Development Orders and the Young Offenders scheme.

Racheal Sutherland

Racheal is a Malyangapa Barkindji woman who was born in the Southern Highlands, and has recently moved back to raise her children here. She is passionate about Culture and Community, and believes in Social Justice and Human Rights for all people. Racheal has been working in the Community Services Industry for almost ten years and is currently completing a Bachelor of Social Sciences with UOW. 

Racheal is our Community Support Worker and can assist clients with EAPA Vouchers, WDOs, referrals and form assistance.
