Domestic & Family Violence Support Domestic and family violence doesn't have to be physical abuse. It can be emotional, psychological, financial, sexual or other types of behaviour that exert power and control. If you believe that you are experiencing domestic and family violence, support is available. Our team of understanding Community Workers can help you with information and useful resources, safety planning, access to legal support and other social supports such as Centrelink, housing and tenancy, referrals to specialised services, educational, parenting and empowerment programs and support groups, case management and brokerage for essential safety and household items. If you are an Aboriginal woman experiencing family violence, we provide a culturally safe place for you to seek support from an Aboriginal Community Worker. We are available Monday to Friday at Stafford Cottage, or phone on 02 4862 1122.
